We are delighted to welcome you to the 2025 cast of Cardiff Scout & Guide Gang Show! The standard of those at auditions this year was incredibly high, so you should be proud! Here are some things requiring your action to complete the registration process:
- Attend the first rehearsal: Tuesday 17th June, 6:45-8:45pm at Highfields Church, Monthermer Rd, Cathays, Cardiff CF24 4QW.
- A parent/guardian of each under-18 Cast Member must attend a meeting during the first rehearsal, starting at 7pm. Lots of vital information will be given for around 30 minutes, and contains information relevant to this specific production. It is also an opportunity for cast members and parents to meet members of the team and ask questions about the show. The meeting is for all parents to attend, even if your child has previously taken part.
- Activity Fee: All Cast Members are required to pay a subscription fee of £45 by the first rehearsal (17th June). If there is a difficulty with this, please email info@cardiffgangshow.co.uk, in confidence to arrange a bespoke payment plan. Please see our bank account details below. Alternatively, we can accept card payments in person.

Speaking roles, solo parts
If a Cast Member would like to put themselves forward for a speaking part or solo singing part, they will be required to attend an additional audition on Sunday 8th June. This is the only date to audition.

General points for rehearsals:
- Cast need to wear comfortable, casual clothes for rehearsals with appropriate footwear (black daps or dance shoes) so that they can dance and move easily. Uniform is not required unless specifically requested. Bringing a water bottle is also required. We do run a tuck shop, so a small amount of change may also be useful, though we do accept card payments.
- Cast members are expected to attend all rehearsals, and definitely all of the performances. Please make every effort to be on time, allowing us to make the most of the rehearsal, ensuring that cast members don't miss too much of the content needed to perform the show.
- Understandably, there may be some dates Cast cannot make. Please let us know in advance which rehearsal dates cast may be unable to attend. As Gang Show is a part of Scouts and Girlguiding, missing rehearsals for Scout/ Guide nights away is permitted for events which young people have already been registered. Please note from September to November, Gang Show will need to be a priority.
- Please register any absences using this quick form. Please let us know ASAP via this form
- Cast Members must be a member of Scouts or Girlguiding. If a member of the cast ceases their membership of Scouts or Girlguiding, they will be unable to continue with the show.
