Marilyn Le Conte – Voice Acting Consultant

Marilyn Le Conte is a Drama and French graduate from Hull University where she was President of the Dramatic Society. She has worked as an actress since 1969, appearing in theatre, TV, film and radio and has been a teacher of radio acting for over 30 years, at RWCMD, LIPA and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Marilyn has coached students for the annual BBC Carleton Hobbs Bursary Award and has had 18 winners and 16 runners up, a record for any drama school. She is an annual BBC Audio Awards judge, a frequent BAFTA Wales judge and is the co-author of the three part ‘Radioactive’ series of books, published by Bloomsbury.

She is currently working as a Radio Consultant, helping transform theatre into radio drama, for Theatr N’a Nog, and teaching radio acting online to the Actors’ workshop.

Marilyn is leading the Acting for Voice workshop for "Virtually" Gang Show.
